 Our History

We started to offer Jyotish services in January 1995 . The services offered were the usual services that can be offered for jyotish, plus yajña services. The chart interpretations were done in writing, by a jyotishi in India. As good jyotishis are already available in North America to provide live consultations, it was decided to concentrate our efforts in yajña services. It was then decided, in August 1995, to create the Biswa Kalyan Foundation, dedicated uniquely to promote yajña. Consequently, our jyotish consultations have been discontinued.

All the services offer by the Biswa Kalyan Foundation are under the supervision of the Pundit Jyotishi Benu Mukhopadhyay, who resides near the Ganges river in West-Bengal, India. Pundit Benu has 30 years of experience as a jyotishi. He has a B.Sc.Vyakaran Tirtha Jyotish Sastri.
He has toured the world in collaboration with a major spiritual organization from 1991 and 1994, and offered consultations in Asia, Africa, Europe and North America, for a total of 70 countries around the world. Later, on returning to India, he returned to his private practice, and in collaboration with a staff  in Canada, they have founded Jyotish International and started to offer yajña services for North America. (At present, interest has grown and inquiries are coming from all around the world).
